Supplies Checklist
Everything you need before your peptides arrive. Most people only find out they're missing bacteriostatic water after their vials show up. Don't be that person.
Order these before your peptides
Peptides arrive as powder and can't be used without bacteriostatic water and syringes. Standard shipping from peptide vendors is 3-5 days, so order supplies first and they'll be ready when your order arrives.
Injectable supplies
Bacteriostatic Water (BAC Water)
EssentialRequired to reconstitute (dissolve) lyophilized peptide powder. Do NOT use regular sterile water — BAC water contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol which prevents bacterial growth and extends vial life to 28 days after opening.
$8-12 for 30ml
Insulin Syringes — 1ml U100, 29-31 gauge
EssentialThe standard for SubQ peptide injections. Use 29-31 gauge, 0.5 inch needle for subcutaneous injections. The fine needle makes injections nearly painless. Buy a box of 100 — they're inexpensive and you use one per injection.
$15-20 for 100 count
Alcohol Prep Swabs (70% Isopropyl)
EssentialWipe the rubber stopper on your vial and your injection site before every use. Non-negotiable for sterile technique. Individually wrapped swabs are most convenient.
$5-8 for 200 count
Sharps Disposal Container
EssentialRequired for safe disposal of used needles. Never throw syringes in regular trash. 1-quart size is enough for most people. Check your local pharmacy — many accept sharps for free disposal.
$5-10
Drawing Needles (18-21 gauge)
Optional but recommended. Use a larger gauge needle to draw water into your syringe and inject it into the vial, then swap to your fine insulin needle for injection. Prevents dulling your injection needle. Some people skip this and just use the insulin needle throughout.
$10-15 for 100 count
Sterile Gauze Pads
Apply gentle pressure after injection if there's any minor bleeding. Small 2x2 inch pads are ideal.
$5-8
Storage
Small Dedicated Fridge or Cooler
Reconstituted peptides must be kept at 2-8°C (36-46°F). Lyophilized (powder) peptides are stable at room temp for weeks but last much longer refrigerated or frozen. A dedicated mini fridge keeps peptides away from regular food and maintains consistent temperature.
$30-60
Zip-Lock Freezer Bags
Store lyophilized peptide vials in sealed bags in your freezer for long-term storage (months to years). Label with compound name and date received.
$4-6
Testing and bloodwork
PrivateMDLabs or Ulta Lab Tests — Bloodwork
Get baseline bloodwork before starting any SARM or steroid. At minimum: testosterone (total and free), LH, FSH, CBC, and metabolic panel. These services let you order your own labs without a doctor.
$50-150 for full panel
At-Home Testosterone Test Kit
A quick way to check your testosterone levels before and during a cycle. Less comprehensive than a full bloodwork panel but convenient for monitoring.
$30-50
Oral compound supplies
Weekly Pill Organizer
Essential for staying consistent with oral compounds. A 7-day organizer makes it impossible to forget a dose or accidentally double-dose.
$8-15
Digital Milligram Scale (0.001g precision)
Required if you're measuring powder compounds or bulk supplements by weight. A standard kitchen scale isn't precise enough — you need milligram precision.
$20-40
