When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google. We store this in our database to identify your account and associate your content (reviews, saved stacks, bloodwork entries) with you.
Content you create
Reviews you submit, stacks you save, bloodwork entries you log, and any other content you create on the Site is stored in our database and associated with your account.
Payment information
If you subscribe to The Stack Index Pro, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status to manage your Pro access.
Usage data
We use Google Search Console and standard server logs to understand how people use the Site. This includes pages visited, time on site, and referring URLs. This data is aggregated and not linked to individual users.
Email address
If you subscribe to our newsletter we store your email address with our email provider (Beehiiv) to send you the newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.

5. Bloodwork and health data
If you use the bloodwork logging feature (Pro only), the lab values you enter are stored in your private account and are never shared with any third party. Only you can access your bloodwork data. This data is not used for any purpose other than displaying it back to you. We strongly recommend not entering any personally identifying information in the notes field beyond what is necessary for your own tracking.
6. Cookies
We use only essential cookies necessary for authentication (Firebase Auth session cookies) and basic site function. We do not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. We do not display third-party ads.
7. Your rights
You have the right to:

Anonymized aggregate data (such as usage statistics) may be retained indefinitely. Reviews you have posted publicly may remain on the Site after account deletion in anonymized form.

The Site is not directed at children under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

The Stack Index is an informational reference site only. Nothing on this Site constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. The information provided is for educational purposes only.
